Temple Of The Dog fue una banda proyecto con el fin de hacer homenaje al vocal de Mother Love Bone (Andrew Wood) quien fallecio por una sobredosis de heroina en 1990 , fue fundada por Chris Cornell (Soundgarden) en el cual incluyo integrantes de otras bandas propias del grunge como a Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Jeff Ament (Pearl Jam) y Matt Cameron (Soungarden).
En el caso de Eddie Vedder solo participo en una cancion la cual fue hunger strike
